Traveling in Belize

Belize is another beautiful Central American country wedged between Guatemala and the Caribbean Sea. In fact, many people say Belize is more like an island in the Caribbean rather than a mainland country. Part of Belize's beauty is its lack of development. Roads remain unpaved, traffic lights virtually non existant, and jungle abounds along with beautiful sandy beaches.

Belize - Quick Facts

Local Language: The official language of Belize is English! This comes in handy for those of us who don't speak Spanish.

Costs: Belize is realtively expensive compared to other Central American countries, however you can still get by on a budget of around $40 Canadian per day depending on your level of comfort.
