14 month internship

Post Mon Oct 24, 2011 5:25 pm

Okay, so I am hoping to do a 14month internship(not paid) in North Carolina. I have NOT been to college or university and this internship is with a nature preserve that teaches traditional living styles and skills. I would be helping out around the preserve which could be anything from tending to their crops, cooking food for the staff and mending fences. SO it's just basic hands on skills that I will be learning

I have looked extensively into this and cannot seem to find a sure fit answer. It seems the DS-2019 form is only issued to students who are enrolled or recently graduating and are seeking out an internship in their occupational field.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Cns do not apply for visas for this type of work.
They show up at border, with documentation of what they intend to do, and are admitted in B status, if accepted.

DS forms are for consular visas which do not apply to you.

This seems easy. Can anyone back up his/her answer?

What sort of documentation do you think would be adequate?

Thanks
