Hi,

Does anyone have experience obtaining a 2A visa for young professionals? I'm a computer engineer, looking for contract work in France. I'm wondering if this visa is difficult to secure, and if employers and recruiting companies are familiar with it.

thanks.

Hey,

Getting the VISA from the consulate shouldn't be a problem and it's generally something larger companies are familiar with - you could always e-mail them the description from the French consulates website. The trickiest part can be getting the work contract from the company certified by the DDTEFP. Just make sure to leave yourself lots of time!
