3 year Computer Science Degree from a Canadian University

Hi I am Canadian and I have a 3 year Computer Science Degree from a Canadian University. Do I still need experience to qualify for a TN Visa for a Computer System Analyst position in the US?

No, you do not require experience when presenting a Bachelor's degree for admission.

I have a 2 year Human Services Diploma, as well as extensive Program Management experience. (Developed & implemented 4 different Social Service type programs.) Does anyone know if there's a chance it would be enough for the Business Consulting classification? Any advice would be appreciated.

There is a Management Consultant category which may work for you. When they negotiated NAFTA, they did not specifically require an educational component for this category provided you can document the 5 years work experience required for admission. You could also present a Bachelor's degree under the MC category.

Thanks for your input, at least I know which direction I should be heading. I also have 5 years hospital admin/staffing experience, but that doesn't seem to fit anywhere either.

I thought they did away with grade 13?

Maybe consult an immigration lawyer to see what might be possible. I only suggest it since Management Consultants are very heavily scrutinized at the U.S. border and since there is no mandatory educational component required, applicants are very often refused entry due to their very weak cases presented.

Go for engineer, it's easier to get than system analyst. Network engineer, computer systems engineer etc.
