37 YEAR OLD VIRGIN

37 YEAR OLD VIRGIN

Postby horacio » Wed Mar 07, 2007 7:42 pm

Ok.no not really but a europe backpacker virgin. After liquidating all of my worldly goods at home here in Canada, I plan on taking an extended trip throughout Europe, something I should have done years ago but I am definately young at heart and obviously in a better financial situation than the average 20 year old.

Being completely green besides having family on Portugal and speaking the language I am looking for tips. I have no concrete plans but am anticipating entering into England because it's the cheapest airfare. Hey I said i'm in better financial situation but still want to do the hostel and economical way.

I would love to work and stay for quite some time if possible and would welcome all input.thanks people!

Get a eurail pass good for a couple months and go wherever you want! Language isn't too big a deal, and portuguese probably won't be of use outside of portugal. English is enough to get you by, at least in most Western European countries.

Working is the hard part, see if your family can hook something up. Unless you have a work permit it can be hard to get cash jobs.

Where do you want to go / see?

Why not try India or some South East Asian countries. It is cheaper. Your dollar in syria, for example can be worth 46 Pounds! Imagine that eh? With $20,000 CDN you could be a millionaire in Syria!
