6 Months Stay in US without Visa for Biz purposes?

I am the owner and sole employee of my Ontario incorporated business. I am close to signing a contract with a client in the USA. This will require me to do work at the client site for the next 3 months while I analyze their current structure and provide expertise on their existing systems.

I posted a few things earlier about thinking I needed a TN Visa, but I called the US Consulate and heard the following pre-recorded message. "Business Visitors to the US Are Eligable for up to a 6 month stay without a Visa"

If my own corporation writes up my employment letter for entry into the US will I have any border issues do you think? Will they scrutinize me because it's essentially my own corporation or should it matter?

As long as (a) you continue to make your home in Canada, and (b) your work is defined as legal under B1, then you can and should simply enter on B1.
