a place to stay in kingsington/chelsea...?

hi,

after receving a job offer and work permit, i will be moving from toronto to london on june 30.

i was wondering if anybody knew of a place in the kingsington/chelsea area (that's where my office is) where i could stay for a few weeks, until i get my act together? i can afford about 250 GBP per week. Are there any Canadian expats out there renting out a "flat", or a room in a house or something?

any help is appreciated.

Have a look at www.gumtree.com There you can look for apartments (flats), houses, etc. to rent, share and so on.

I'm on my way to the UK too this summer so i check this site out every day just see to see what's out there.
