Post Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:04 am

I've been reading about it, checked the forums, checked the topics.. never knew it could be THIS complicated, but I'm thinking about moving to the USA...

I'm a registered Indian Status in Canada! (dont know if that makes a difference)
I'm 19 years old.
I'm Female.
I've no relatives there....
In no way linked to the USA...

I dont know where to begin, which cards I need, which papers I need..

But I know I want to Live in the USA.....

maybe someone could help me out, point me in the right direction...

until than, I'll keep searching for answers, hope you can help...

it makes abig differnce that you are Statused. You fall under the "Jay Treaty". Since this is not an immigration site, I'd suggest googling this term and you will find all the info you need.

This site is a travel site and not best source for these topics:
TN and TD info: http://forums.immigration.com/forumdisp ... -TN-Status
For US/Cdn taxes and SS/CPP:forums.serbinski.com/index.php
US Marriage-based Immigration: visajourney.com
