If one is holding TN status making X amount a year, could he/she accept an extra yearly bonus on top of amount X from the company?

Of course. The work hasnot changed, has it?

The salary noted on you TN letter is merely to determine if you are really doing the job your TN says you are doing, not to fix your salary.

If you petitioning for an engineer, and getting $24K, they will suspect that you are not relly doing engineering work.

Likewise if they are paying you $350K, they will suspect that your duites far exceed those of an engineer.

But bonuses, raise, even minor paycuts, have no impact on your TMN.

Thanks!
The reason I ask is because, my wife who is on TN (full-time) has been offered another job (part-time) for about 10-12 hrs a week (concurrent TN). This part-time job involves working for a small real estate investment company as a architectural project coordinator/manager renovating and redeveloping investment properties. She has been offered hourly wages (12/hr), but has also been informed of bonus incentives if the work is completed within the trifecta.

So, this is a new TN job. The sponsor should put the bonus structure in the letter, but not required.
