Advice about Ancestry Visa --HELP!

Advice about Ancestry Visa --HELP!

Postby bebe6 » Sat Aug 01, 2009 5:12 pm

Hello,

If anyone could help me ASAP. It would be SO appreciated! So here is my story. My grandfather was born and raised in England (now resides in Canada) and recently I have applied for my ancestry visa. The first visa appointment I had, I did not have proper documentation. I went back for the second interview last week with the proper documents which was sent away. My primary intent is to work in the UK but I have also been accepted to the Univiersity of Wales. Apparently I have made the mistake of including my acceptance letter from the university and have recieved an email yesterday stating that my "intent is not clear". They requested that I fax them a note stating my primary intent. I explained to them that I was no longer attending the school for september (which is the truth) because it is to my best interest to work full time and I will hopefully take courses in the future. I am actually very upset because I have surrounded all my future plans on high hopes of arriving to the UK. Could this possibly be the reason why I get denied?

These are the documents I provided to them:
- long form birth certificates of my grandfather, mother and myself
- other birth certificates, and marriage certificates of my grand parents
- i have included my last few pay stubs from a job I have started at the begining of summer
- included a statement written by my mother stating that she will help me finacially until I recieve employment (I am only 19 years old)

Could somebody please give me some advice and honest opinions as soon as they could. Thank you! :(
