Be Polite and respectful with the guard and have all your paperwork in order, and make sure that you have everything.

I had a binder with individual plastic sleaves which contained 3 copies of each:
- Offer Letter - make sure that it is written properly, and make sure the NAFTA title is correct
- Resume
- Diploma
- Letters from two professionals (one was stamped by a PGO) confirming my work experience
- Photo copy of passport
- Photo copy of SIN card
- Photo copy of drivers license

They only took the first page of the offer letter, they suggested that the letter be printed on company letterhead (mine just had the name and address of the company on the top).

I am sure that having my paperwork organized, and not having to fumble through and search for anything helped me get through smothly.

Hi,

What does the PGO mean?

Letters from two professionals (one was stamped by a PGO) confirming my work experience

I have been through 2 TN @ Pearson Toronto.
All were smooth.
The wait is quite long 3~4hrs. But the processing time (the point when the officer start reviewing my application) only last for 10 mins. I have no clue why I have to wait so long, as there aren't a lot of people in the secondary inpsection point ( a room other than the counter).

I guess as long as your document is well prepared and organized, don't think it will cause any problem

FYI.
I have a US engineer BS degree and apply for Engineer job

Thanks Kevin,

How much time prior to your start date did you apply for the visa?
