Advice on Career Opportunities in Dubai

My husband and I are interested in exploring career opportunities in Dubai. My husband is in a senior management consulting position with one of the Big 4 firms in Canada.

I am a human resources/employment counselling specialist.

Both of us hold post-graduate qualifications.

Would any of you be able to answer the following questions?

1) What are job prospects for management consulting/HR?

2) What are typical salary ranges?

3) What typically would be the savings potential - i.e. we're assuming that there is no income tax in Dubai.

4) How would you rate cost of living with respect to a large Canadian city?

5) Would companies typically pay for relocation expenses, health care, air tickets back home etc.?

6) What are the other perks typically?


7) Are there any good executive/senior position search firms based in Dubai/Canada?
