Advice on how to proceed to the UK

Post Tue May 19, 2009 6:26 pm

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but just wanted to ask a question.

I'm looking to go to UK in the next couple months to marry my girlfriend within a two month period once I'm there. Is there any advice on the type of visa I should apply for in regards to a situation like this?

Thanks in advance,

ootwpcs.

Hi,

my name is Brad Johnson(the guy who always fails his viral marketing campaigns and then some! LOL), I am also new here and I have a couple of things on my mind which I'd like to ask you guys  .

Currently as I am writing this now I'm in the exact same situation as ootwpcs, I need to know which visa I should apply for in order to get married in the UK. The only problem is that I am scheduled to ascend in to 5thD along with everyone else here before 2010. So my question is how long would it take to get a visa to get married in UK, I don't have much time here(roughly until the end of the year) so I'm wondering if its even worth it going through the immigration and marriage process when Im going to ascend with everyone else. This is completely true and anyone can verify this by doing a simple muscle test which is a completely legit and undoubtedly fail-proof way to get answers about whatever one's heart chakra wishes. So I guess this begs this question... why am i even posting this here :-| ?

preemptive thanks to you.

Brad Johnson

you need to apply for the certificate of approval, this give you the right to get married in the UK.

Hi Joanne

My wife is British and we are married for 2 years. We live together in Toronto. We have decided to relocate to UK. I was wondering if you can point me to what type of Visa I should apply for.
I also have the following questions:
Do I need to be in the UK to apply for Spousal visa?
We are expecting a baby - does the baby get automatic British Citizenship or should baby be applying as dependent?
How long does it takes to get a visa?
Do I have to stay 6 months w/o work permit?
Do I need to provide a ticket to apply for the visa?

Thanks a bunch.
