Advice on where to spend Canada Day?

Post Tue Mar 01, 2005 8:12 pm

Hey All,

I am planning a trip to Europe (mostly in the west and the south) in June/July and am wondering if anyone can suggest a good place to spend Canada Day. If not somewhere where it is recognized, then somewhere that we could find a group of Canadians looking to celebrate!!

Thanks very much,
McGee

I guess London has stuff going on, I'm not sure where else in Europe. Different expat groups have gatherings, and embassies as well. I was in Budapest last Canada day and the embassy had a get together but it was more like a bbq for kids and stuff.

Hello,

Just to follow up my earlier post, we are going to be in either Scotland or Ireland on Canada Day. In Scotland it will be either Glasgow or Edinburgh and in Ireland we will be in Dublin.

Hope that helps narrow things down,

McGee

Hi everyone,
I will be in Stirling, Scotland for Canada Day with about 4 other girls between the ages of 18-23...anything to do around there at that time?
