You might want to let friends and family know about the last minute deals with Air Transat right now. My mom managed to book a flight for this Thursday from Vancouver to Manchester for just $479 including taxes/fees!

that is a massive time to fly packed like sardines.

Unless flying to "the continent" I never fly charter.

Well, given budget constraints, and the fact that I haven't seen my mom in over a year (I usually don't go more than a week or two), and the fact that she's been missing me terribly, 9 hours of relative discomfort is a small price to pay. The point is seeing family, not moaning about the transportation, no?

I plan 1 trip a year and my parents come once. But really. I like my space, decent food and free drinks.
