Hi there!!!

I've been offered a position in Algers, Algeria, for an Algerian Company.

Any recommendations regarding what I should be negociating? What's the socio-political environment like? Is it safe? What about the culture? What should I be asking for (security, housing, vehicle, insurance (health & life), etc.?).

Can anyone give me any guidance?

Not sure about algiers specifically, but algeria in general from what I've heard isn't a very safe place. Don't they have like a civil war or someting going on in the south of the country?

You might wanna see what this company offers in terms of security Again, this is just based on what I've heard. I was in Tunisia once and close to the algerian border but couldn't cross over because I didn't have a visa.
