You are right Reba Canada is in dire need of doctors but whose going to fight the bureaucracy, my sister is a medical doctor from Pakistan, she spend 2 years trying to get in finally gave up, did her USMLE and moved to the US this is her 3rd year 1 more year of residency left.

I personally know of at least 4-5 doctors who came from different countries but then decided to move to the US because its simple their and very complicated and time consuming in Canada.

Depends which country you get your medical degree in. Unfortunately for Canadian citizens, the government does not recognise a lot of country's degrees, but they do some others. I believe that medical degrees from the US are on par with their requirements.

I've worked in factories with doctors. It's a stupid immigration law that needs to be fixed. And each new PM says they're going to, and they never get round to it.
