Well it depends what kind of skills you have. what kind of studies have you done?
If you learn German you will of course have more chances of finding a job.

I have done a few years general university and have an apprenticeship in small boat engine mechanics. So I don't have so much and I notice everything here needs a Bachelors or Masters unless you want to earn 4-5€ per hour.

Do you think it would be possible in 1 year to learn enough german to goto University?

Yes a Bachelors degree will help you a lot. unfortunately Germans love papers :P

For the language. If you really want to, I think it is possible. you will need to put a lot of effort to it though.

What is "General University" ?
