Any Canadians in Al-Ain

Hi all - I'm living in a small city called Al-Ain here in the UAE. Going into my 3rd month here and feeling pretty homesick. Would love to hear from any fellow Canadians in the area who might want to meet for a coffee, be a gym-buddy or just hang out .

Just read your thread, as I'm currently looking for info to prepare us for our move to Al Ain in a few months. I know there are some Canadians there right now. Try British Expat Forum, there's a really long Al Ain thread on there and some Canadians post on there as well. What do you do there? Any tips for us before the big move?
