Go to SKY bar in Ocean Terminal (Leith) and say Hi to Accadia (If THAT aint a canadian name i dont know what is) Tell her Hayley sent you ;) Neil. one of the chefs is Canadian too, he's my brother in law to be.

ALso, a bar in Edinburgh named Hectares used to serve Sleemans. I think they stopped but they might have started again! Check it out!

Cheers.

Hi Mr. Submarine. Welcome to Edinburgh. How are you liking it so far? What are some of the challenges you have been facing?

Let me know if you need any advice!

Ugh, that really sucks.you have to make sure on a holidaymaker that you have 2,000 dollars i think so they know you don't need help financially.

You'll get there. The whole process if everything runs smoothly doesn't take long, only 2-3 weeks to find out if you can come to the UK or not and to have your passport stamped.

Good luck!

hmm I been wondering, what you did in terms of OHIP? did you cancel it or what do you do! I went to the ohip site but that was no help. :D

I called OHIP and they told me that my health coverage will be cancelled if i move away. Of course, i never reported it as long as i come home once in awhile and use it i guess. I know i'll be home at least every six months if not before.

If you have a holidaymaker, you are eligible for coverage in the UK. All you have to do is find a doctor that will take you on as a new patient and you will be ok for medical coverage if you need it here. Hope that helps.
