I am not in the UAE, but in Cyprus. It is a hostile part of the world to be in if you ask me. The weather is stifling for me and the people are very distrusting of any other cultures but their own. I hope that your experiences are better. Keep in touch.

I'm currently in Dubai, I can't call it a hostile environment, it's different from North American or European - same as every other country. It's safer than Europe and North America that's for sure!
