I miss home I've been in Boston and now in New Hampshire for three years now and I still miss home!!!

Anyone else living in are around NH/MA?

Hi !

I Live in New Brunswick and I'm currently in the process of moving to Boston. Do any of you guys have any tips when it comes to finding a job?

Are the local people willing to hire a canadian even do it means they must participate in the working visa process?

How much time does it take to get a working visa?

I'm also using temp agencies to help me find a job and I'm applying online as well. Any tips?

The best place to find work is on either bostonworks.com or monster.com

There are lots of places to work here and there are lots of Canadians working here too so getting a visa sponser should not be too difficult. But be prepared, the cost of living here is high. $2000 min. for a descent apartment and avg price for a home is over $400,000. But other than that Boston is a great city as long as your not a yankees fan!!!


P.S what kind of work do you do?
