Any Canadians working in Portugal?

This September im hoping to head to portugal. Does anyone know of any job opporunities in the Algarve region?.
Currently i don't have a EU passport, but as soon as im in Portugal, i'll be taking care of my citizenship.

I would say (for what I saw when I visited Lagos last February) the jobs opportunities would be in the tourism industry (working in restaurants, hotels) ...I guess you already speak portuguese? All the poeple that we meet (working at the hotels and restaurants) knows at least 2-3 languages (portuguese, spanish, english, german and sometimes french).

Oh yes and BEFORE you are going to Portugal you will have to sort out your required visa. You cannot just go there as a tourist and look for a job.
You will have to get a work visa before entering the country.
