anybody had experience at Derby Line poe for TN ?

I am going there to renew my TN, wonder if they work on weekend and if the officer is nice. I am from boston, so it's the nearest port I can fine.

They might be open 24/7, however, it is strongly recommended you file your TN application during normal business hours, say, 9 to 5 since they tend to place officers with TN expertise during business hours. At least, that's what my corporate attorney recommends for the Windsor/Detroit POE.

I've never had a problem at Derby -- they're very professional and fast. Just make sure you bring all your documents (transcripts, degrees, etc.) just in case they ask.

Derby Line is great, guys are nice, never a problem, just, as usual, have all the paperwork (including copies) all in order.

thanks very much for the information. I also want to take few days off, so can i go thru Canadian border, turn around , get my TN, and turn back to canada. Then come back to US after few days? I hope the traffic isn't too bad.

and last time i was at queenston/lewiston, been treated badly. strongly recommend to avoid that port if possible.

I just went to get my TN and TD at Derby Line. The Officer was very nice and professional. He processed the application swiftly with only basic questions. I was done within 15 minutes. I drove to the Derby Line town (1 minute drive) to have a look at this library sitting on across both sides. Then I drove back to Canada. Wink

derby is like a box of chocalt it all depends which officer is going to go through your application. Carter, Henry and Lamby are great. goerge is a toughy. you can go 7/24. I would preferably go 8:30 to 15:30. Champlain is not far away and the supervisors there are great. highgate you may see Off. suitor 8 to 4 M to F.You need to enter the US immediately at all these POE to when processing. What TN classification? How many have you had? What is your education
