Hi Cali,

We have plans of moving to Perth Australia. A few important questions for us are...
1. Is Australia a culturally rich and embracing country as Canada?
2. How would you compare family and social life in Australia to Canada?
3. What are the negatives of moving to Australia when compared to Canada?

1. Is Australia a culturally rich and embracing country as Canada?
They do very well, you well find every color and nationality there, although on average there are more Asians, because of proximity to Asia.

2. How would you compare family and social life in Australia to Canada?
Very similar, though they follow the British education system. Lot of culture and things to do, esp in a city like Perth.

3. What are the negatives of moving to Australia when compared to Canada?
Humm....
- Heat,
- I would say that in attitudes towards women they are a bit behind, you well encounter the idea that they are not quiet as capiable.
- Overall I would say Oz is like canada but a few years behind.
- you well find them more polite, and people working in the service industries are much more respected (a good thing i think)
