Anyone know of anything going on for Canada Day in Sydney?

All the Canadians have seem to have gone to Melbourne. Are there any in Sydney? Last year there was something going on for Canada Day at Victoria Bar in North Sydney, but there doesn't seem to be anything on this year. Anyone know of anything?

What, nothing happened? I forgot to call the Cdn Consulate in Sydney, they usually plan something. Had some good Canada fun in Victoria Bar.

Victoria Bar had something on last year.it's going thru renovations now isn't it? Ah well.there's always next year.

Hi all, I've seen a few posts asking if there are anywhere for Canadian expats to meet-up in Sydney. A large amount of the travelling and young professional crowd (i.e. aged 18-40) go to the Network Canada events (which are free for everyone).

We're also throwing our annual Canada Day bash which usually draws around 1,000 people and is sponsored by Canadian Club Whisky, Moosehead, Air Canada, Whister Beer, Canadian Tourism Commission, etc, etc. Details are on the NetworkCanada.com.au website.

Any young backpackers that are looking for Canada Day celebrations can check out www.scubar.com.au they do a good Canada Day celebration every year and this year it's a Red and White party. Heaps of Cheap Booze and good music all night!
