Anyone landed a professional job abroad?

I'm a journalist, working on an article for MoneySense on how to find a job abroad. Would anyone have any advice to offer about: how to network with an eye to getting a job overseas; the names of any international agencies that are particularly trustworthy; what types of capabilities are in demand; how you were able to rewrite your resume to make it more acceptable to your chosen destination; how to handle the interview process (and what to expect); how to determine if its a good offer? Would love to hear from any Canucks who have insights to offer!
