Hello captainger,

I work here in close relation with many NGO's. Their salaries and living allowances vary a lot from one to the other.
In addition, most NGO's operate in countries where it is near impossible to bring your family. So the benefits are based on one person only. The solution for married people is to have both of them find work. Salaries in Asia and Africa go between 2500 Euros to 10000 Euros per month.
It all depens of the qualifications, and the NGO. if you have a master's degree in law and work for a Human's Rights NGO, you will be in demand and can get a good package.
Good luck!
