Hello!!
I am so happy this forum exists and I will be even happier if someone out there could offer some advice -
I am a 32 year old Canadian and so illegible for a UK holiday work visa. My friend and employer is moving to the UK and has asked me to live and work with her there. She is disabled and my job description is pretty much exactly as written in the Domestic Worker profile. I also fit all the other criteria outlined.
I am just not sure how easy it is to be granted Domestic Worker visa - I am wondering if it is better to just go to the UK as a "visitor" for 6 months rather than risk being rejected and not be able to go at all -
But as a "visitor" I imagine going to and from the country might cause some uncomfortable questions at customs? ( I would love to take advantage of RyanAir cheap flights around to explore . . .)
I dont want to settle in the UK or look for other work and staying 10 months would be ideal-
I would like to go legitimately if it looks most likely to happen - does anyone out there have any experience applying for this visa?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM!
