Applying for a UK YMS while in New Zealand?

I'm heading to New Zealand next month. (Rugby world cup..yay!!) I have a work permit & everything.

My next travel destination is the UK . . Direct from New Zealand, not coming back to Canada in between. .The plan is to get in there around April 2012 (so I can hit up the Summer Olympics), which is approximately 10 months from now. The UK application is so complex and finely detailed (considering the New Zealand application was so simple!!)

Can I apply for it while in New Zealand?
Doing that would simplify the "Date of travel" part.
