Hello,
I have a couple questions, re: Applying for dual citizenship ......

My Nanny (Grandmother) on my materal side was born in the UK (in England); she lived there until she was 18yrs old; she's a "British War Bride" that married in England & came to Canada after WWII.) My Nanny lives in Canada & has dual citizenship. My Mother was born in Canada.

On my paternal side, my Granny (who passed away in '2010) was born in Scotland & immigrated with her family from Scotland to Canada when she was 3yrs old. My Father was born in Canada.

I am Canadian born in the 1970's.

- Would I be able to apply for citizenship?
- Do I qualify for dual British, Scottish &/or EU citiszenship (with my Canadian citizenship?)
- Do I qualify through descent of my Grandmothers &/or parents?
- How do I apply for British, Scottish &/or EU citizenship & passports?

Any info./help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You are not eligible for UK citizenship. You are eligible for "right of abode" thru commonweath status.

There is no Scottish or EU passport. UK passports are EU passports.

Hi AGNELSON,
Thanks for your reply & help on this.
How do I go about completing the, "right of abode" thru commonweath status?
Or, whom do I speak to about this?
