Hello,
I have a couple questions, re: Applying for dual citizenship ......
My Nanny (Grandmother) on my materal side was born in the
UK (in England); she lived there until she was 18yrs old; she's a "British War Bride" that married in England & came to Canada after WWII.) My Nanny lives in Canada & has dual citizenship. My Mother was born in Canada.
On my paternal side, my Granny (who passed away in '2010) was born in Scotland & immigrated with her family from Scotland to Canada when she was 3yrs old. My Father was born in Canada.
I am Canadian born in the 1970's.
- Would I be able to apply for citizenship?
- Do I qualify for dual British, Scottish &/or EU citiszenship (with my Canadian citizenship?)
- Do I qualify through descent of my Grandmothers &/or parents?
- How do I apply for British, Scottish &/or EU citizenship & passports?
Any info./help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
