Hey everyone! I moved here 5 months ago but only recently found out about this site. I am living in Brussels. I'm looking for people to make a few trips this winter to Chanmonix (or anywhere in the Alps) to snowboard and see some great scenery.

I am a Canadian, originally from Montreal, now living in Brussels. Haven't met too many other Canadians here, but I should be here for a while so it would be nice to meet some others.

I spent the last year in Amsterdam working for ING Group, currently doing the same only in Brussels .

I am a originally from Newfoundland and have been living close to Gent for over a year now with my Fiance ( A Belgian Citizen). It would be great to talk with other Canadians or English speaking people as I do not know alot of the dutch language which makes it difficult. I am hoping to take some courses so if anyone knows of a reputable school close to me it would be great.

Darn it ! I'm just over a year too late to have found your post but just in case I'll give it a go.

I'm originally from Cape Breton Island Kellie but have been living here in Belgium for 21 years (came over as an au pair in 1989).

If you see this please let me know. I have never really gone out of my way to meet other Canadians - mainly because there simply aren't that many living here (we're so exclusive y'see eh lol). But as soon as I saw that you were a Newfie ... I just couldn't resist ! lol

I live 32km south of Brussels in Wallonia (not so very far from SHAPE - the international military base) but I work in Brussels for the European Commission (I have dual citizenship since 1992).

Hope to hear from you or any other Canadian in the region !

I've no idea whether anyone who originally posted on here will actually see this as it's been so danr long ago but what the heck...

As for the comment that was posted by Dislocated Cdn - I'm very sorry but there's no way in ol'heck you cna just obtain a work permit here so easily ! LOL This simply isn't true.
