im about 100km north-east of where you will be (in fulda).
interesting note, i have been here almost 1 year, and i only met my first canadian here 2 weeks ago! she runs a 'canadian' bar in saarbruck
i guess we tend to spread out.

I'm in wiesbaden. thats kinda near about 30 or 40 km
lots of americans here too and english bars

Thanks for the reply. I am looking forward to "visiting" Germany and I may just stay there if I get the job I applied for. But in the mean time I plan to study German. My boyfriend has family all over the "south" so as soon as I can figure out how to spell the names of the towns I will at least know where they are.

I play hockey. I am assuming not many females play hockey in Germany. Anyway I guess the season will be over by the time I get to Germany. I will just have to do all the other "things" a girl from the Rockies usually does Smile

I don't know where they play exactly. but when I went to Canada the last time the female German Ice Hockey team was on the same flight. Wink

I don't even think the men play hockey in germany.
and if u mean skidooing by "other things", then you can forget it because it doesn't even snow here Razz

p.s. how was hockey day?
