Ausie Jobs

Hi there,

Has anyone got Australian immigration on their point system? And how can one win a job in Australia while living abroad?

Please compare and contrast Canada, U.S. & Australia? Appreciate it. Thank you all in advance.

Regards,

Kumar

We got a company to sponsor us. We simply searched and sent out resumes. It helps if your profession is in demand I think. Working in another country is a good way to get valuable experience.

The US is probably the most difficult to get sponsored unless you go on a TN visa.

I know someone who went as a skilled migrant. It took about a year for him.

best of luck

We have a skilled visa (permanent residenet). It took us about 7 months from start to finish which was actually quite fast at the time. My husbands job was in demand so it was much faster, otherwise it could have been a year or more.

This was for Australia. I've never lived in the US so can't comment. And I'm Canadian so can't tell you anything about Canadian visas. Except I've heard they take a really really long time.
