Aussie version of Craigslist

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what sites like Craigslist exist in Oz? I'm looking for sites that apply to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

I agree. Gumtree is the biggest one that I know off.

What are you looking for?

If you're looking to buy things then there's also the Trading Post. You could also check out Freecycle if you're looking for free stuff. I follow freecycle for my area in Brisbane and you quite often see tv's, furniture, etc. being given away.

Other than that I think Gumtree would be the closest match to Craigslist.

Agree with previous posters about Gumtree but it does depend on what you're looking for.

Bikeexchange.com.au is good for bicycles
Tradingpost.com.au is okay for buying goods
Domain.com.au or Realestate.com.au if you're looking for a place to rent or buy, or easyroommate.com.au or flatmatefinders.com.au for a housemate.
Ebay Australia is my favorite place to get used furniture and appliances.

Unfortunately I don't think there's one comprehensive website here that's as widely and commonly used as Craigslist but Gumtree is the same idea and is getting more and more use.
