Teaching in Beirut

Post Tue Feb 12, 2008 1:54 am

Hello,

Can you send me information about the jobs that are available in Beirut? I have teaching experience and am currently involved in education, but prefer working in the Administration Department rather than having my own classroom. However, I am interested to know more about the position.

Kind regards.

Teaching In Lebanon

Hi Shelley

In response to your questions

Unfortunately we can only disclose the name of the school after they have reviewed your academic back ground and found you a suitable candidate for the position that you have applied for. The reason for this is the schools want to avoid receiving bulk and junk mail.
Work hours are 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, teaching hours vary between 4-6 hours a day, depending on the grade level and subjects taught.
Minimum salary for the teaching positions in Lebanon is $2000 U.S / month. thats with minimal credentials.

1)The Job postings available in Beirut Lebanon are varied in grade levels depending on the position you are applying for.
2)The language your are expected to teach in is English.
3)The schools are located in the Capital (Beirut) which has a multicultural society, and a mixed religious community.
4)The schools are International school that are funded by student tuitions, and supported by the International countries that they represent.

Hello again,

Thank-you for your prompt reply. I am familiar with some of the schools in Beirut, and would be proud to work for some while not for others; this was the reason for my question, as I do not want my CV going just anywhere.

Best of luck to you & kind regards.

Sorry shelley, we have signed a non disclosure agreement with the school therefore we must abide by the terms and conditions. Feel free to fill out the on-line application, we will assess your credentials, and at that point we can release information pertaining to the schools info.

Best of luck on your Job search
