Biometric Data Appointment

Biometric Data Appointment

Postby SLJ2288 » Mon Feb 02, 2009 10:34 am

Hi,

I understand that you get prompted to make an Biometric appointment at a Visa Application Centre once you complete your online application... But I'm just wondering if anybody knows how soon I can book that appointment (i.e. Will the first available bookings be 1, 2 or 3 weeks later?)....

If anybody knows & can help that would be great! Like everyone else, the quicker I can get the application done and over with, the better!

Thanks!

SLJ.

go on the worldbridge website after you complete your application select your country and then on the next page there will be links on the left hand side the last link is "make an appointment" click it and it takes 2 minutes, you can have an appointment within the next day if you choose to do so :)

Thank you so much for your quick reply!

That makes me feel much better. It takes long enough to get the application in order - I'd hate to have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get an appointment before it can even be processed!

Thanks again,
SLJ.

Not to burst your bubble but the biometrics is the easy part! I applied on December 12 and yet to hear anything!!! No calls, no emails nothing...the waiting is the hardest part. Hopefully you have all your ducks in a row and yours gets processed quickly.

Good Luck!

Oooooh sorry to hear about your wait :( No bubbles bursted here... I'm building in a 60 day 'worst case scenario' timeline... Fingers crossed...
Hope you hear soon!

PS - just an update for those waiting for a UK Tier 1 General Migrant Visa... Mine was processed in exactly 5 days!! Woo Hoo! Looks like this is a slow period right now (for many reasons....)....
