can anyone recommend any good guide books? preferrably for europe or any in general.

I've got Europe on a Shoestring, and I don't call it the bible for nothing :D It's so much better than any other guidebook. Lonely Planet rocks. Don't fall for Let's Go Europe or any other one.. I've used them as well, and I liked Lonely Planet more. I get a copy of their guidebook before every trip I make. Haven't been dissapointed yet.
