Bringing Children after becoming US resident

I came the the USA on a K-1 visa in July 2010. I was married in August 2010 and I now am a US resident. My two kids live with my ex-wife in Canada. Now we have been talking about one of my kids coming to live with me here in the USA. Does anyone know the process for this? Do I have to go through full immigration with them just like I did for myself or is there some different way to do it since I have already immigrated. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.
