Hello,

I had a question regarding British Citizenship, I became a Canadian citizen in 1977, can I become a British citizen under the fact that Canada was still considered part of Britain as it had not repatriated its constitution yet?

Thanks for your help.

Being a Cdn citizen does nothing in terms of getting british citizenship.

You *might* be able to get "right of abode".

The constitutional aspect means nothing. Commonwealth countries stopped giving/getting each others citizenship in the 40's.
