British education to Canadian education.

Post Sat Jul 25, 2009 1:04 am

We are a family of four currently living and working in the South Coast of the UK. Our daughter is applying for a Toronto university and if she gets in then we as a family are considering re-locating to Toronto where we are from originally. Only issue is that our son has just stared GCSE's so we would be moving in the middle of these :doubt:
Anyone have any experience of having done similar and how it would work, how he would slot back into the Ontario education system, etc etc

makes sense to me, the british grade system and the canadian grade system are completly different. You all do not even have grades and run on a different school year too. The result is that two 10 years old from diff countries could have diff education levels. IB is the same everywhere
