buying a home in the usa

Post Thu Oct 09, 2008 2:30 am

I am Canadian. I play poker online for a living and my favorite place to visit is Las Vgeas. With the Canadian dollar strong and the US realestate market down, it seems like the perfect time to invest some cash into a Las Vegas home. I would want to live in this home as much as possible.

Am I still allowed only 6 months per year even if I own property down there?

Would I be expected to pay US taxes on my online winnings?

Lol I had the same reaction.

Out of my mind I don't see anything except except being sponsored by a potential US wife (it's Las Vegas after all.) of being an investor (It's Las Vegas after all.)
