Post Wed Mar 07, 2007 12:44 pm

I dunno about buying property, you'd have to check I guess state and/or county websites for intormation.

As for how long you can stay, it is 6 months per year or per trip if you stay over the winter. So if you go there in November you can stay til April, but you can't go back again til November.

hi there
you really need to access the US embassy website for visa info - can't give you the website as this forum won't let me due to spam rules.also we have our Central Florida home for sale /rent. It's in a 55+ community , packed full of activities . 3/2 solar pool on 0.25 acre, quiet cul de sac - fully loaded- email me if you are interested.
you need a B2 visa for 6mths but you can apply for extension to stay longer.

My name is Freddie and I need to get in touch with fellow Canadians in the US who are landlords/owners of 50+units apartment complex/es - who are either US-residents or non-US residents. - Just need some advice on US - Canada taxation rules.
