Can a Canadian living in UK get a French work visa?

Hello All

Here is my question.
If I am living in London (with a tier 5 work visa) but now would like to go work in France or somewhere else in Europe to teach English.
Is there any way to obtain a work visa for France or other European countries while I am in London?
I really hope so.
Any help would be appreciated !!:)

I looked into this myself recently since finding a job is not working out for me in London and the website indicated that you have to be residing in Canada at the time of application.
