Hello
I searched this forum and got some information related to this topic, but still can not find exact answer.Hope someone can give me some idea on it.
My question is do I need any worker visa to work for my canada employer(located in Canada) when I live in US with my TD Visa.TD Visa is only good for the spouse and Kids of TN holder to live in us, not work.My current Canada employer may want me work in US remotly for him.Is it legal for me to do this without work visa? No bracn of my current company is in US.
I check USCIS.GOV ,all temporary (nonimmigarant) worker visas are about working for US empolyer in US.I called them and was kick to State.gov, then be kicked to CBP.gov, which can not reach customer rep, only automatical anwers is avaliable. No professional one can give me the answer, finally I called the US border where I got my TD, someone told me if I live in US and work for Canada empolyer. I don't need work visa, but she can not find official publication or link for me to check. You know it be possible another officer give me the opposite answer someday, this oftenlly happended. If I can find some offical statement on their gov website, I will feel better and go ahead to discuss with my canada employer for my job's details. I will be very appreciate If anyone can give me more information on this topic.
Thanks
