Can I apply for my TN at the airport days before leaving?

Hi,

My lawyer sent me some docs for the TN Visa but he wrote the word "renew" in it which is annoying because I know you cannot technically renwew the TN Visa.

I'm going back to Canada to "renew" my Visa Tues and will return to the US on Sunday.

Hence, I would like to apply for the TN Visa upon ENTRY to Canada, at the airport, on Tuesday so that I have a few days to fix it if he actually did screw up. Otherwise, I'd be leaving from Canada back to the US on Sunday and well nothing is really opened then!!

How do I apply for the TN Visa at the airport without going through security or whatever the hell mess they have going on there.

You can renew it, I think the official terminology is an "extension of stay". In any event, your original entry in TN-1 will be in your admission record so they will know you previously had TN-1.

I don't think there is a way of applying at the airport without actually flying out. At a land border obviously you can just do a U-turn and come straight back.
