Can I get a citizenship?

so i'v been looking through these forums for a while now and there seems to be a lt of people who seem realy helpful and know what there talking about, so thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.

I was planning on getting an Ancestry visa but after doing some research some people have said i can get a citizenship because my father was born in England. is this true?
if it is true how do I apply, it seems the more I look into it the more comfused I get

If your father was born in UK, you ARE a citizen, and merely need to apply for a passport, providing documentation of your birth and your parents' marriage.

do you know where i can download an application form?
i seem to be finding a lot of company's that charge $500-$600
i just wan to do it myself
also do you know if UK passport Photos are the same as Canadian Passport Photos?

You can and should do it yourself; you need to gather the docs required which can take a few months. You don't pay someone to get your Cdn passport do you? Then you shouldn't to get British one either.

do you know which form i need to fill out?
i think it is the C1 form but am not sure
the other ones wouldnt really make any sense

It's C1.. You also need to look at the documentation that FIRST time applicants need to submit. It's quite extensive.
