Can TN holder living in the US, remotely work in Canada?

Hi,
I'm currently living/working as a travel nurse in the US on a TN visa. I have gotten a new certification that allows me to do nurse consulting work on an independent basis. I am still a Canadian citizen and have ties there (bank accounts, car etc..) and so since I cannot do this consulting work in the US on my type of visa, would I be able to do this remotely for Canadian clients, paid in Canadian dollars going to a Canadian account? What are the rules around this type of situation? Thanks!

You can do this type of work in US, but each client would need to get a TN. Independant contracting is allowed on TN.

You can telecommute for Cdn companies under certain circumstances. The manner in which you are paid however has nothing to do with making it legal or not. It would still be taxable in US.

Where/how do I find the circumstances under which I could telecommute for Canadian companies?
