Hey everyone, what a great site. Makes me proud to be a Canadian seeing everybody help each other!

I have read alot of threads posted here and have visited a few relevant sites but cannot seem to answer this question. Can you "discreetly" scope out potential employers while visiting and make a TN application at a designated center or listed POE from within the states? This would make the whole process much easier, but as I can't find an answer I thought I would ask.

Also if anyone has had any experience in the Hotel Manager category advice would be appreciated. My post secondary associate degree is in Hotel and Restaurant Management, but all of my experience is in restaurants. I hope to find employment in a restaurant "inside" a hotel or owned by a hotel. Could this cause a problem since the occupation is clearly identified "Hotel Manager". I have seen the terms "hotel" and "restaurant" used interchangeably in reference to TN applications on some websites (including TNVisaExpert), but I have also read that the job titles must be match precisely. Alot of hotels and resorts these days have many departments within their grounds but how is this perceived by customs agents?

One last thing.I assume the POE from Vancouver would be Blaine as listed on the CBP website. Does anyone have any experiences they could share that my help prepare for an application at this POE?

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
