They do have Sleeman and Molson too. I absolutely love the taste of them both.
I may not be canadian or british but am not a tourist either and did the whole canadian thing last year and absolutely loved it.I am also considering moving over to canada one day and would love to hear and learn about the life out there etc. as much as possible.
So forgive me if I am being too much of a nag. :)
Would be good to see you all!

Oh, okay. What if you're gay AND Canadian?

I might meet up with some of you guys at the event, but I won't be able to commit until closer to the date.

That could be madness with both Canada Day and Pride Day on the 1st! Could be great fun!

I'm just looking forward to running into people with the same accent as mine (as in: It was originally Canadian but is slowly getting British!) and talking about home! My Brit friends are all coming to try Canadian beer.the only thing missing.Beaver Tails! God, I miss Ottawa sometimes!

I'll be there for sure since I have entered a team in the Street Hockey tournament.

Although, it won't be as traditional in a square as in a street. big element missing which you can see the Frantics recreate in the link below:

http://www.scootter.net/StreetHockeyClip.html

I am not sure what the music will be like as I can't say I have heard of any of them, but I am sure the street hockey will be a blast and as long as the Moosehead is cold I will be happy.

A shame I can't get Extra Old Stock here, but such is life. :(

Hi all,

You may want to consider coming down Friday June 30th, there is an all day event in Trafalgar Square.

http://www.canadadaylondon.com/

I'll be there playing in the street hockey 'tournament' and hoping to take home the first Trafalgar Square Cup.

July 1st in London will be very busy as it is Gay Pride day.

Of course, if you want to be in the Maple Leaf on the day, feel free. :)

As for what Canadian beer they sell. The Maple Leaf tends to stock:

(Bottles)
Molson
Moosehead (Which runs out quick)
Labbats

(Tap)
Sleemans,erm, something
Sleemans, erm, something else. :)

(I am from Manitoba, so not conversant with the beer from the centre of the universe that is Ontario. ;) )

Hey Mapletree.I'm in the Southwest as well and I have always sworn by Megabus. It got me to Bristol when I moved here for £1.50! I think we can still get really good prices for next weekend! Also, there is now a Megatrain that I've heard it quite good. Take a look online (it's the only way you can book) and you might find it's cheaper than you thought!
